Drone inspection is a proven cost-effective alternative to other inspection techniques, which Cyberhawk has demonstrated across thousands of projects. The ability to inspect equipment while it is live means no asset shutdown is required and cost savings can run into seven figures.
Cyberhawk operates in some of the world’s most challenging industrial environments and completing projects successfully requires precision and experience. Drone inspection removes, or at least limits the risks presented to personnel through working at height, in hazardous areas, in confines spaces or overside working. Offshore pilots are Level 4 qualified while onshore oil and gas pilots are a minimum Level 3.
For typically difficult to access areas, such as the tip of a flare or underdeck of a platform, drones dramatically reduce the the inspection time usually required using rope access or scaffolding. Cyberhawk has cut workscope time down by over 80% in some projects.
Using our technology as a screening tool, we can help our clients undertake an early inspection of their assets before prioritising further inspection or maintenance activities.
Our cloud-based visual asset management software, iHawk, has been developed to help asset managers prioritise and plan repair and maintenance, make better decisions, reduce offshore and site visits and and improve communication between asset teams and contractors.
With 60 staff and a decade of experience, oil and gas inspection is at Cyberhawk’s core. From our offices in Livingston, Houston, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Kuala Lumpar and Abu Dhabi, our team is trusted by major companies all around the world to safely and efficiently complete workscopes. We have completed more than 30,000 flights in 33 countries, along with more than 30 world firsts.
