Richard has a successful track record in senior finance and leadership roles in a range of quoted and private companies. Most recently, he led the strategy and ultimate sale of hydro developer Green Highland Renewables. This followed his success in securing around £70 million of funding for the development of the Oyster wave power technology for Aquamarine Power. Prior to joining Aquamarine Power, Richard was Acting Chief Executive at quoted Novera Energy plc where he led the sale of the landfill gas, wind and hydro group. Richard has also held a number of finance director roles in the renewable, oil and gas service, coal and mining sectors with companies including Mining Scotland, Consolidated Supply Management, AIM-listed Anglo Asian Mining plc and Cambrain Mining plc.
Chris Fleming is recognised as a pioneer in the UAV inspection industry. Having personally carried out over 150 live flare inspections to date, he still leads field teams on the most technically challenging projects for Cyberhawk. As an offshore Inspection Engineer, Chris has spent the last 20 years working around the globe in Australia, Norway, the North Sea, the Middle East, Malaysia and Brunei. Prior to joining Cyberhawk, Chris specialised in FPSO operations with his last seven years on the Captain FPSO.
John is Cyberhawks Chief Financial Officer. Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with EY, John has spent over 25 years working in a variety of finance and general management roles across a range of sectors. Since 2015, John was Finance Director of Endura, a private equity-backed Scottish manufacturer of cycling apparel. Following a period of strong profitable growth and expansion into new markets, the role culminated in overseeing a successful trade sale to Pentlands Brands, owner of Speedo, Berghaus, Canterbury and a range of other world-class brands.
Phil joined Cyberhawk in 2010 as part of the founding management team and in previous roles led Cyberhawk’s Finance and Sales & Marketing departments. An MBA, Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, Phil has been at the forefront of introducing UAV inspection and asset management solutions in multiple sectors including oil & gas, electricity transmission, thermal & renewable power generation and civil infrastructure.
Nick has a 15 year track record in IT and enterprise applications, successfully developing and delivering projects on geospatial data and data visualisation. He has also built applications for a range of banking and telephone companies as well as a mission planning system for NATO. Currently he leads the IT department in Cyberhawk and is responsible for the delivery of our industry leading asset management software, iHawk.
Rodrigo is a Chartered Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the energy market, having previously worked for a major UK utility company. Having started his career in the development of wind energy projects, he has since moved into transmission and distribution inspection and maintenance. Rodrigo has a strong background in maintenance management and condition based maintenance with an insight into the health and safety standards of the industry. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Xiang leads the Oil and Gas inspection team and carries out technically challenging inspections, including world firsts in coal-fired power plant furnace and cargo oil tanks within on-station FPSOs. Prior to joining Cyberhawk, Xiang was a Senior Integrity Engineer at Lloyd’s Register overseeing pressure systems of upstream production facilities on FPSOs in the North Sea. He holds an MSc in Corrosion Control Engineering, BEng in Mechanical Engineering, and is active in developing new inspection and asset management solutions.
Martin leads Cyberhawk’s Utilities and Rail inspection teams, ensuring all data capture and reporting is completed successfully and to the highest possible standard every time. He has worked closely on iHawk, Cyberhawk’s cloud-based asset management tool throughout its development and leads the operational aspects of the iHawk platform. Martin started working with Cyberhawk in 2013, coming through the Graduate Program and progressing to the Team Lead role.
Christopher holds MEng in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in advance materials engineering and energy systems. As Team Lead for Renewables, he works closely with Cyberhawk’s field teams to continually improve the efficiency of our inspection services, as well as developing our digital reporting solutions via iHawk Wind.
Duncan first joined the Cyberhawk team in 2014 and has over 15 years of experience. Formerly specialising in railway surveying, Duncan has helped pioneer the way visual data is captured in all aspects of aerial surveying. With a clear understanding of performance-driven data management, Duncan has helped lay the path for iHawk’s visual tours and 3D model generation. Duncan holds a BSc Topographic Science.
Iain has over 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, predominantly within subsea inspection. As an offshore Inspection Engineer with a background in mechanical and electrical engineering, Iain was responsible for delivering pipeline inspection solutions worldwide including Middle East, Far East and USA. In his current role as Operations Manager, he is responsible for the overall delivery of Cyberhawk’s inspection services ensuring key personnel and equipment are in the right place at the right time, whilst exceeding customer expectations.
With over 20 years’ experience operating remotely piloted aircraft, Bruce is one of the global innovators within this rapidly developing sector. He has pioneered inspection techniques in over 20 countries and achieved a number of world first inspections. His specialist flying techniques have been developed over 2000 commercial flights across four continents in some of the harshest environments in the world. He holds an Instructor rating which enables him to examine pilots of remotely operated aircraft on behalf of the UK Civil Aviation Authority. He has been providing instruction in advanced inspection techniques for over seven years which has resulted in significant advancements in industry practices.
Having served in the Royal Air Force for 15 years as a Electrical and Avionic Systems Technician, working across aircraft such as Typhoon, Tornado F3 and Nimrod MR2, Douglas has extensive technical experience and training. This knowledge is key to the effective management of Cyberhawk’s UAV and vehicle fleet. Through the introduction of a high availability maintenance model utilising corrective, preventative and scheduled maintenance techniques, Douglas ensures we have the tools to get the job done safely, every time.
Patrick has more than ten years’ experience in international sales and business development, working for a range of technology focused service companies across the energy sector. He leads Cyberhawk’s sales, marketing and proposals teams, using his in-depth understanding of our clients’ challenges and aspirations to create the solutions they need now and in the future. Patrick is responsible for building the credentials of Cyberhawk’s visual asset management platform, iHawk, as well as our world-leading UAV inspection and survey services.
Marc has recently joined Cyberhawk as Business Development Manager and is supporting the company to push the boundaries in the digitalisation of construction projects. Working towards his MEng and with almost 10 years’ experience in Offshore Oil & Gas, Construction, Refining and Power Generation internationally; Marc has held various roles within operations, project management, engineering and business development.
Anthony combines his finance background with over a decade of experience working in the energy industry to lead our Bid and Tendering team. He works closely with the sales and technical teams, to create solutions for customers from regular projects with longstanding clients to complex industry world firsts.
Adam has over 20 years of experience heading up business units in multiple international markets and industry sectors. Adam leads the expansion of the Cyberhawk USA business unit leveraging from his international work experience spanning across the world. Having worked in Australia, China, the Middle East, South East Asia, the Pacific, and the UK, he understands our industry and the continuous optimization needs of our customers. Having spent equal amounts of his career in client-owned facility operational teams as well as in Engineering Advisory Consulting firms, he understands our industry from a service provider perspective and as a technical operational professional.
