Company Background:

Founded in 2008, Cyberhawk is the world leader in visual data management which seamlessly combines drone-based inspections data with its software solution, iHawk

As an industry pioneer, we have completed more than 35 world firsts since our inception, operating worldwide in more than 37 countries (and counting). Although there are some DevOps practices in place you will be given loads of autonomy to deep dive into what has been done and implement change to improve processes.

Key Accountabilities:

Our task

Our main software offering is iHawk. It is a LAMP application with some background tasks. Please provide us a short (500 words) description of what you think an AWS-based production infrastructure would look like including:

  1. Virtual servers (including size and available resources).
  2. Proprietary services (i.e. AWS’s RDS / Elasticache).
  3. A deployment method.

Extra kudos for considering:

  1. Security (i.e. secure access, threat detection).
  2. Budget (i.e. Material cost or impact on iteration speed).
  3. Data handling (i.e. data with different classification levels).
  4. Portability (i.e. how easy it would be to move to another platform).
  5. Future plans for how the set-up could be improved.

No agencies please.
