CYBERHAWK ORIGINS
Born to reduce risk,
built to deliver insight
Our story began in 2008 on the oil platforms of the North Sea, where our founders — engineers and rope-access specialists — spent years scaling flare stacks and confined towers.
Observing first-hand the difficulty and danger of gathering inspection data, they asked a simple, yet radical question: what if we could send a drone instead?
From that idea, Cyberhawk took flight as the first company in the world to use unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for live industrial inspections.
More than 35 world-firsts later, we’ve proven that safety, precision, and operational efficiency go hand-in-hand. What started as an act of engineering pragmatism became a global mission to make industrial work not only safer but smarter.
How we work
Integrity, insight, impact
We close the gap between collecting imagery and taking confident, informed action. Our teams operate in more than 40 countries, combining world-class pilots, inspection engineers, and data specialists to deliver precision where it matters most. Every flight is executed with engineering discipline, capturing data designed to solve real maintenance, compliance, and reliability challenges.
All of it flows into iHawk, our cloud-based aerial data management platform. iHawk transforms drone imagery and sensor data into a living, collaborative workspace that unites teams, automates analysis, and connects inspection findings to decisions.
But what sets us apart isn’t our advanced technology or elite skills — it’s the values that guide how we use them:
Safety
above all
We started with a simple principle: no data is worth a life. By replacing rope access, scaffolding, and helicopter flights with drone-based inspection, we remove people from high-risk environments every single day
Clarity through
expertise
We’re engineers first and pilots second, capturing data that tells a meaningful story — not simply a collection of images
Speed to
decision
Our digital workflows move data from the field to decision-makers in hours, not weeks, reducing downtime and enabling predictive maintenance across complex asset portfolios
LOOKING AHEAD
Towards a safer, smarter,
more sustainable future
The next era of infrastructure management will be defined by resilience, sustainability, and human expertise empowered by smarter tools — and Cyberhawk is leading that evolution.
We’re expanding the reach of remote operations through Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) programs, enabling the inspection of vast, linear assets like transmission lines, pipelines, and offshore platforms with greater safety and precision.
We’re advancing AI and automation to enhance how defects are detected, analyzed, and prioritized, delivering consistency and foresight that give operators true control over their asset integrity.
And we’re helping the world’s most asset-intensive industries — from oil and gas, marine, and power generation to grid infrastructure, renewables, and construction capital projects — operate more sustainably.
We’re more than a service provider — we’re a strategic ally in asset inspection and integrity management, helping our customers navigate the transition to a more resilient and responsible industrial future. Together, we’re redefining what it means to protect people, assets, communities, and the environment — one flight at a time.
